Bucks for your favorite charity

Bucks for your favorite charity or non-profit organization Some of my friends do car washes or bake sales or auctions to raise money for the good causes (schools, wildlife organizations, house of worship). If you know of a Florida farmer or land owner that would allow me to hunt deer or wild hogs (providing they have such on their property), I would like to donate $200 to a ministry or charity designated by that land owner. (Two Hundred Dollars)

This is a win -win situation: 1. Funds for the charity or ministry that does not require time consuming work.

2. Land owner can be relieved from wild game that can harm crops/ landscape, carry disease or cause serious injury when struck by a car at night. I know of people who have paid to have damage causing deer and hogs removed from their property.

3. My son and I will enjoy God's creation and a sport together.

Feel free to pass this along and have interested parties contact me at 407-339-5633 or by email pjones@gdi.net.

My father was a marksman in college (instead of getting a letter in basketball or football, he got a letter on the college rifle team), an officer in the Marines and fought in Korea. He taught me how to safely use a gun and hunt. He grew up on a farm and helped to feed his family by hunting rabbits, squirrels, pheasant, and quail (as does much of rural America). Although not to the extent of my father, I have fed others including my family by the fish and wildlife I have been allowed to harvest. I have a combination hunting and fishing license and observe the FL laws. I respect the environment by planting trees and not littering. I am an Eagle Scout (age 44). I enjoy camping, backpacking, hiking and canoeing. My favorite place to be in the outdoors is the Ocala Forrest. My son (14) has earned both his rifle and shotgun Scout merit badges. He is a straight A student at Orangewood Christian School in Orlando.

Last year I hunted on a farmer’s land in Georgia and made a donation to his son’s school. He has invited me back but it is a long drive to Georgia.

Feel free to pass this along to those you think might be interested.
