Some Beautiful Photos From The Virgin Islands
and some more Rocky Mountain Hiking photos

Many thanks to our friend Dale Klein for these beautiful photos. As you look through the other photogalleries, you will find many other photos of Dale's other adventures as well.
Click on Thumbnails below to enlarge photos.

WaterlemonCay is a picture of the island/cay that is the best snorkeling on the island. It was a short hike up the side of the mountain to an old sugar mill to get this picture.

-Brain Coral and UndrWater1 are some underwater pictures taken at Waterlemon Cay.

-A Good Day is a picture of three of my friends that went snorkeling that day at Waterlemon Cay, it was a good day.

-Favorite Photo is my favorite picture I took while I was on the island. I took this while on a hike to the top of Ram's Head on the southeast side of the island.

-SeaKayak is my feeble attempt at navigating in the Caribbean Sea. As you can see I'm not much of a water person.

-IslandView is a neat picture from an overlook on the island.

-Klein Bay (photo above) is a picture I had to have taken with my last name being Klein and all.

-Pelican is a picture of the many Pelican's that we saw. Waterlemon Cay is the small little island beyond the pelican.

St. John's is the least inhabited of the 3 Virgin Islands, two-thirds of the island is a National Park, including an underwater area with a snorkel trail. I went as part of a President's Club with my job and we stayed at the Westin Hotel. But I did go 2 days earlier and stayed at the Maho Bay Eco-Tents $75 a night. These are basically a screened in porch on a 16 X 16 platform. They also have tent camping at Cinnamon Bay $20 a night and some bungalows, $50 a night, at Cinnamon Bay for the more outdoor people.

These were just a few of the pictures I may have a few more coming.

The Hiking pictures I have are of a hike my younger Jeff "Coop" from California and I did on July 1st, 2001.
The hike is James Peak from the Winter Park side. It was 7 miles round trip, with 2,187 feet of elevation gain.
It was a beautiful hike and very fun to do with my brother, at the register at the top, I could help but write, "Our God is an Awesome God."

Thanks again for your site.
